PGIM Establishes a $175M PGIM Private Shelf Facility for Solar Landscape’s Commercial Rooftop Solar Projects

Dallas, TX, May 19, 2025 – PGIM Private Capital established a $175 million PGIM Private Shelf Facility to fund the construction and operations of Solar Landscape’s new rooftop community solar projects. The initial deployment out of the shelf will finance approximately 43MW of community solar projects across Maryland and Illinois. Wal-Mart served as the equity tax investor for this transaction. PGIM Private Capital is a leading source of private debt for public and private companies and is the private capital arm of PGIM, the $1.4 trillion global investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU).

“PGIM Private Capital is excited for this chance to provide financing for Solar Landscape’s community solar ventures. We are always happy to continue adding to our portfolio of investments in the community solar space,” said Ingrida Soldatova, Senior Principal at PGIM Private Capital.

Solar Landscape is the leading commercial and community solar independent power producer in the United States. They have deployed nearly 500 megawatts of renewable energy projects – totaling over $1 billion in capital investment – and leased 100+ million square feet of commercial rooftops.

“We greatly value PGIM Private Capital’s support for our commercial rooftop solar construction and operations. We appreciate this opportunity to continue supporting America’s communities through clean energy initiatives and driving our Country’s energy dominance agenda through the rapid deployment of shovel-ready power to the distributed grid, sited on commercial rooftops in key areas where the most power is consumed,” commented Nick Federici, Senior Vice President and Head of Investments & Structured Finance for Solar Landscape.
